New Protocols to Ensure the Safety of Our Employees and Clients
April 30, 2020Top 9 Reasons to Install Carpet Tile
June 12, 2020Here at Commercial Flooring and Interior Concepts (CFIC), we have been anxious about returning to work as everyone else is. There are a few things we need to think about and prepare as we return to work. We are sharing five key flooring updates you need to know as you prepare to transition back into normal working environments.
1. Our team at CFIC is taking additional precautions to ensure the health and safety of you, your employees, and our workers.
These precautions include the proper PPE (gloves and masks) for all CFIC workers. We provide a pre-task plan to the office that identifies the workers entering your building and ensures that they are safe and healthy. Each CFIC worker has their daily temperature taken, and we are wiping down areas that are affected by our work at the end of each day.
2. All construction projects have been delayed.
Therefore, that means we have been holding onto materials in the warehouse that could not be installed due to the Governor’s stay-at-home orders. As office locations open up, we are planning to work on a first-come, first-serve basis.
3. Please know that the duration of these construction projects will be longer than usual.
Social distancing practicalities will dictate how many workers can be in a particular area at a time. Therefore, jobs may not be completed as fast as they used to be.
4. Off-hours work.
Some areas within your workplace may need to be installed during off-hours to minimize interactions between the CFIC workers and your employees.
5. Floor cleaning and maintenance services.
CFIC also provides floor cleaning and maintenance operations to ensure the workplace is clean and sanitized for your safety.
